What an awesome discovery! This is the first day that I discovered what would become The Beaver Hole relic bonanza. While metal detecting in the river at this battle site, I scared a beaver out of his den and he startled me as he swam off. Just a few minutes later, I began hearing relics in and around the roots of his den. Even after this detection, I have returned several times and found many more relics here.
