I'm back with a brand new series where we're diving DEEP under the hood of Cursor!

Why should you care? Because understanding how Cursor really works is the key to unlocking its full potential! The better you understand Cursor, the better you can prompt, and the more creative you can be!

I spent over a year building my own open-source coding agent and learned a ton of the same basic principles that Cursor uses. So, I thought, why not share that knowledge with you? This way, you'll be a total pro at prompting and using Cursor (and similar tools) in the future! ????

We might even go a bit further and build our own open-source version of Cursor... But today, we're starting with an overview of the most important thing: how all the prompts, tools, and behind-the-scenes magic of Cursor actually work. ✨

Specifically, we're focusing on the Composer agent. Yeah, the chat and autocomplete are cool, but the real fun stuff is in the agent!

???? In this video, we'll cover: ????

How agents work behind the scenes.

How your prompts are structured and used.

A deep dive into the 15 tools that Cursor has at its disposal.

Understanding the nuances of different tools like semantic search and MCP, and how to use them effectively.

Tips for writing better prompts so you can help Cursor be its best self.

What We're hoping to do is to show you how the "AI assistant" works behind the scenes and show you how to leverage it to have a great development experience

Remember guys...
Help the A.I and it will help you!
