China's $27K Humanoid Robot Enters Mass Production | The Rise of Shenzhen Dobot

Shenzhen Dobot, a leader in industrial automation and collaborative robots, has officially entered the humanoid robotics race and it’s way ahead of the pack. Atom is Dobot’s full-sized, AI-powered humanoid robot that just entered mass production at a disruptive price of around $27,500. That’s far less than comparable humanoids like Unitree’s H1 and in line with Tesla’s long-term pricing goals for Optimus.

Dobot has already proven it can scale production of advanced robots, with over 72,000 units deployed in 80+ countries. Its robots work in complex workflows at major manufacturers, and now Atom aims to take on tasks like assembly, inspection, and even household chores.

Unlike many startups, Dobot brings ready manufacturing infrastructure, deep AI expertise, and supply chain control, giving it a huge advantage as humanoid robots head toward mass adoption.
